  • What is Pilates?
    Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. It emphasizes core strength, controlled movement, and breathing.
  • What’s the difference between mat Pilates and equipment Pilates?
    Mat Pilates is performed on a mat using body weight for resistance, while equipment Pilates uses machines like the Reformer, Cadillac, or Chair to add resistance and support.
  • Do I need experience to start Pilates?
    No experience is necessary. Sessions are tailored to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
  • What’s the benefit of private sessions vs. group classes?
    Private sessions offer personalized attention, customized programming, and a pace that suits your goals, abilities, or rehabilitation needs.


Booking and Scheduling


  • How do I book a private session?
    You message us through the website to schedule your private session.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may result in a $20 fee.
  • How long are private sessions?
    Private sessions are typically 30 to 60 minutes long.
  • How often should I do Pilates?
    2–3 times per week is ideal for noticeable progress, but even once a week can offer benefits over time.


What to Expect


  • What should I wear to a Pilates session?
    Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows movement. Avoid zippers, belts, or anything that might damage the equipment. Grip socks are required.
  • Do I need to bring anything?
    Just bring yourself and grip socks. We provide mats and all necessary equipment. Grip socks may be availabe for purchase in the sudio.
  • Will Pilates help with back pain/posture/injury recovery?
    Yes, Pilates can support recovery and help manage issues like back pain and postural imbalances. Always inform your instructor about any injuries or conditions.


Studio Policies


  • Are children allowed in the studio?
    For safety and to maintain a peaceful environment, children are not permitted in the studio.
  • Do you have a late policy?
    If you're more than 15 minutes late, the session may be canceled or shortened to maintain the schedule.
  • Is there parking available?
    Yes, there is free parking available in the parking lot just outside the studio.
